Throughout the ages, humans have been fascinated by birds – by their ability to fly, their beauty, their agility, their loyalty to their young, their unique calls and their freedom.
The Bird Haven Festival is our opportunity to celebrate the beauty and wonder of birds, by finding out more about them through talks, walks, creative activities, a bird-themed market, information stalls and more.
Friday and Saturday are ticketed events, with fascinating talks for birders of all levels of experience. Numbers limited due to size of venue.
Sunday is a free Festival Day – a lively gathering of people who love having birds in their world. There will be mini-talks, walks, information stalls, creative activities, story telling, music, a bird-themed market and much more.
